| | Name: | Diving-Museum | | About Us: | The Florida Keys History of Diving Museum is dedicated to collecting, preserving, displaying and interpreting artifacts, antiques, books, documents, photographs and oral history relative to the History of Diving. We tell the international story of man’s attempts to explore, understand and venture under the sea. We also celebrate the special role that South Florida and the Florida Keys played in this untold story.
The Museum will provide programs and tours for school groups. These programs will both teach and entertain. The staff can develop programs to fit your specific curricular objectives and needs in most subject areas. Please contact the Museum for further information.
Research Library – The Museum is developing a research library for students and scholars. It will house the largest collection of historic and rare literature about diving history currently in existence.
Seminars, Lectures and Workshops – Special topics such as custom helmet fabrication and regional diving history will be topics offered to the public.
